Utah Cultural Center

The Utah Cultural Center is a place to keep Utah's cultural treasures. The treasures include the collections of the Utah Arts Council, Utah Cultural Center logoUtah State Archives, and Utah State Historical Society. It is for all people to meet, listen, debate, study together, and share ideas. It is a place where people use the collections for research and where exhibits bring down walls between disciplines, peoples, agencies, and collections as people increase knowledge, understanding, and wisdom by engaging cultural objects and each other. It is a thing of beauty, where artistic experiences of all types enrich the spirit and spark the imagination. The Cultural Center is a partnership between three state agencies with similar purposes and visions and a major addition to Salt Lake City's cultural landscape. The Utah Cultural Center is an idea whose time has come.
